Hi! I’m Anlun Huang (黄安伦). You can also call me Allen.
Currently, I am a Research Assistant at the Advanced Robotics and Controls Laboratory (ARClab), advised by Prof. Michael Yip, working on Loco-manipulation and Neural Motion Planning. I received my Master’s degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California San Diego (UCSD), with a specialization in Intelligent Systems, Robotics & Control.
Previously, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering from the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), where I worked with Prof. Sicong Liu and Prof. Zheng Wang on Soft Robotics.
Research Interests
I am passionate about Embodied AI and Robot Learning, focusing on:
- Loco-manipulation: Reinforcement learning and whole-body control for humanoid robots loco-manipulation.
- Neural Motion Planning: Neural network-based motion planning for robot manipulators, gradient-based optimization.
- Soft Robotics: Learning-based modeling and control of continuum robots.
